AT&T joins with Samsung to offer the Captivate
So it looks like AT&T are not entirely dependant on the iPhone 4 this summer as it has been reported that they have teamed up with Samsung in order to offer the Samsung Captivate to its users.
Thanks to the recent article by Rajesh over at tech-exclusive.com we can share with you some more information on what to expect from the Samsung Captivate. It has been described as a revamped version of the Samsung Galaxy S which we have previously reported on here.
The phone comes with a large 4 inch Super AMOLED screen also with WVGA resolution and a 1GHz Humming bird CPU. It also comes with 512MB of RAM and 16GB of storage. It also features a 5 megapixel camera which is capable of 720p video recording.
Jeff Bradley senior vice president Devices, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets said add up the Captivate’s amazing screen huge amounts of onboard storage a super fast processor all fuelled by the nation’s fastest 3G network and a nationwide Wi-Fi network and you get a Smartphone we know our customers will crave. No news yet on the pricing for the Samsung Captivate but we will keep you informed.
