We all know that this is going to be a busy week with a lot happening in relation to Apple. Thursday sees the new iPhone 4 launch and tomorrow for those that didn’t know the new iPhone OS or iOS 4 as it is otherwise known as is being released.
Thanks to an article by Luigi Lugmayr over at i4u.com for sharing more information with us. iOS 4 is compatible with iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4, 2nd and 3rd generation of iPod touch late 2009 models with either 32GB or 64GB.
However some features apparently do not work on all devices, you wont get multitasking features unless you have iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 or 3rd generation iPod touch for example.
Coming with over 100 new features, lets just hope that the 3GS hardware has enough power to run iOS 4 with no problems. You will need to have iTunes 9.2 or later installed on your device to be able to install iOS 4.
