iOS 4 Released for iPhone but not iPad
Today Apple released iOS 4 via iTunes for the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 when it becomes available, but anyone expecting to use iOS 4 on their iPad had better think again as apparently this release is not for the Apple iPad.
According to an article over on Padgadget, the released version of iOS 4 was specifically built for the qualifying iPhone handsets and iPod Touch, and the iPad will have to wait an unspecified time before seeing an iPad iOS 4 version become available.
Furthermore, Apple has not issues any firm release date for the iPad iOS 4 version but expectation leads to the iPad iOS 4 release being sometime near the end of summer, so looks like the iPad faithful have to wait a while.
As for the iPhone faithful, naturally if you haven’t already grabbed iOS 4 for your device you can do so by hitting up iTunes and downloading to your beloved device,
