With the release of the new iPhone 4 comes a new SIM holder known as a microSIM, and just to make sure iPhone 4 customers on the Orange network don’t have any problems with the microSIM, Orange UK has promised and adaptor.
According to an article over on Slashgear by Chris Davies, Orange UK has now confirmed they will supply with each iPhone 4 microSIM an adapter which converts it into a miniSIM size which means you will be able to use the iPhone 4 microSIM in a SIM unlocked device.
However, if your preferred iPhone 4 carrier doesn’t happen to be Orange UK we would expect that other carriers to come out with some form of microSIM adapter, failing that there is a way of scaling down your existing SIM to use with the iPhone 4 which can be found by doing a Google search.
Apparently though, according to the article you can always pick up an adaptor along with a cutting tool from eXpansys who are offering it for £5.49 a pop.
