Naturally the successor to the much talked about Nokia N8 would logically be the Nokia N9 and apparently the new Nokia N9 has been spotted out and about and has pictured what they call the Nokia N900’s big brother.
According to an article over on Engadget by Vlad Savov, the guys over at Negrie Electronics say the Nokia N9 packs 850/1900 GSM bands, which would run on the Big Blue, Rogers, Bell and Telus, and also packs an 8 megapixel camera.
However, according to Savov, we are looking at some “straight up Symbian” but Nokia has apparently already said the Nokia N8 will be the last Symbian in their N-series of smartphones, so is somewhat confusing.
However the article does offer some explanation which is that the “Co” in the upper left corner of the handset could possibly mean the device may be part of the C-series, so would that make it the C9 rather than the N9? More on this as and when we know.
