Motorola Droid X Takes a Jab at iPhone 4 Problem
The iPhone 4 antenna problem is no laughing matter for the people who are experiencing the issue of which there are many, but that doesn’t stop rival smartphone companies taking advantage of the situation to swipe a little jab at Apple’s favourite device.
According to an article over on the Boy Genius Report by Michael Bettiol, by way of Scribd, Motorola placed a full page advert in the New York Times promoting the new Motorola Droid X and also took a jab at the iPhone 4 and its antenna problems.
In the Motorola Droid X advert a couple of lines draws attention to the iPhone 4 jab by stating…”And most importantly, it comes with a double antenna design. The kind that allows you to hold the phone any way you like and use it just about anywhere to make crystal clear calls.”
Obviously a swipe at Apple chief Steve Jobs answer to resolving the iPhone 4 antenna problem by holding the iPhone 4 in a different way…nice slap down Motorola.
