Having a problem getting a bumper for your shiny but useless new iPhone 4? It has been reported that there is a shortage of bumper cases for the iPhone 4 mainly due to people snapping them up so they don’t have to put up with the crap antenna problem with the latest piece of Apple tech.
However, how about an iPhone accessory for a dollar that will do just as good? According to an article over on Engadget by Vlad Savov, Oliver Nelson over at The iphone Guru, has a friend who has come up with a very cheap alternative to the Apple iPhone 4 bumper case.
Apparently rubber wristbands serve the purpose quite nicely and are so the article says a perfect fit when stretched around the iPhone 4 antennas, and even delivers the measurements required to DIY a slot for the 30-pin port and speakers and those measurements are 1.125 inch by 0.125 inch into an outstretched wristband.
So there you have it, a bumper style iPhone 4 accessory for a buck, so why pay Apple $30 or even eBay $100, and looks to be a real cash saving way to get away from all that iPhone 4 antenna drama, what do you think?
