Thanks to the newly released iPhodroid R12 from iPhone hacker Sergio Mcfly you can now run Android Froyo 2.2 on the iPhone 3G on iOS 4 and or priors supporting all baseband.
According to Gadgets DNA you can now unlock your iPhone 3G using the software called Ultrasn0w by porting it into the new OpeniBoot in addition to installing image files on the iPhone 3G NOR, if you decide you do not like the iPhodroid tool you can follow easy steps to uninstall it.
To uninstall all you need to do is choose iPhone option and hold the Home button forever, keep holding it and then once the screen is blank release your finger.
