A cool feature of the Motorola Droid X smartphone is its multi-touch keyboard which basically enables the user to do cool stuff like press letters and shift simultaneously which in theory means you should be able to text faster.

Well according to an article over on Engadget Mobile by Chris Ziegler, the Motorola Droid X isn’t going to keep that multi-touch keyboard to itself as apparently the guys over at XDA-developers have managed to do the business they are so good at and hack the Droid X multi-touch keyboard to the HTC EVO 4G.

Furthermore not onlt have the guys hacked the keyboard to the HTC EVO 4G but also swapped the red accents of the Droid X to green so it can colour match the HTC EVO 4G and not look out of place.

Apparently once you have installed the APK you should be able to select and use the Droid X multi-touch keyboard as you would any other, so if you do grab the Droid X keyboard for your HTC EVO 4G let us know how you get along.
