With Microsoft dusting away the Microsoft Kin phones to concentrate on Windows Phone 7 it looks like Microsoft is already heading towards release of Windows Phone 7 as an AT&T retail signage shows Windows Phone 7 may launch sooner than thought.

However, according to Nilay Patel of Engadget, apparently it’s nothing to get over excited about as cards such as this one have previously shown up in July for September launches.

Having said that I doubt Microsoft would put out retail material if a Windows Phone 7 device wasn’t on its way, and a launch of Windows Phone 7 before the holidays would be a big win for Microsoft if they can pull it off.

Well whatever the Windows Phone 7 device is the material clearly shows a quantity of six, so I guess it’s just a matter of waiting a while to find out; more as and when we know.
