For all you virtual farmers out there that simply can’t get enough of probably the most popular game on Facebook, Farmville; the mobile version of the application for the iPhone has now gained an in-depth review.
The review of the Farmville for iPhone app has been done by Jeff Butts over on Mac Observer, and he takes a close inspection of the adored game that has players tending their virtual farms, harvest plough and plant to your hearts content.
Any ardent player of Zynga’s Farmville on Facebook already knows what one can do on the farm and those that use the Farmville for iPhone app will either already be fans or will quickly learn.
According to the review Farmville for iPhone has nice graphics and makes it easy to go about your daily farm life with push notifications to alert the user of crop withering possibilities, and can be played over 3G. The user can gift stuff just like the Facebook version but gifting is somewhat on the slow side.
Overall, on a positive note Farmville for iPhone enables you to tend your farm while on the go with exclusive items only available to the iPhone. On the downside the app loads slowly, while sending and receiving gifts is even slower, and suffers from frequent crashing when gifting or tending to a neighbours farm.
