The iPhone battery has always been a bit of a guzzler, but apparently when you update your iPhone 3GS to iOS 4 the battery life worsens, but apparently Apple chief Steve Jobs doesn’t believe this and has apparently denied the issue.
According to an article over on Wired, Jarle Aasland, a Norwegian journalist emailed Steve Jobs inquiring if there is “any reason battery performance on the iPhone 3GS should be worse than when running OS3.”
Apparently Aasland received the standard short Jobs reply saying…”Nope.”
However there is apparently a 26 page threat on the official Apple message boards which say otherwise, the thread is named “iOS4 Burning Through battery Life,” and can be viewed here.
How many complaints does it take before Apple and Mr. Jobs realises there is a problem, and actually admit to that problem? If you use an iPhone 3GS with iOS 4 and are experiencing these battery drainage problems feel free to shout out in our comments area below.
