The tech guys over at the Symbian Foundation have now made available for download the first Product Development Kit for Symbian^3, the PDK 3.0.0 for Symbian^3 and is a complete build along with source code.

According to a Ionut Arghire article over on Softpedia, the PDK should enable developers to access the Symbian^3 feature set, and the Symbian^3 PDK 3.0.0 can be downloaded from the Symbian Foundation website.

Mark Skrebels, Release Council Chair and Senior Release Manager at Symbian, announced via the Symbian blog, “S^3 represents a major step forward in the Symbian platform, providing a greatly improved user experience, multiple personalized homescreens, an exciting and advanced multimedia experience including HDMI support, the introduction of Next Generation Graphics, better data networking and much, much more! Symbian also commissioned a great new theme for the S^3 platform called “Fresh” which is included for the first time in this PDK.”
