The problem with new smartphones these days seems to be actually getting hold of one when they are launched. With the likes of the HTC EVO 4G in short supply along with the same demand problems with the HTC Droid Incredible, it doesn’t surprise that people expect the same with the new Motorola Droid X.
However, according to an article over on the Boy Genius Report by Kelly Hodgkins, and by way on an article over on Cnet, availability of the Motorola Droid X on Verizon shouldn’t cause a problem.
Apparently Brenda Raney, a spokesperson for the Big Red has stated she expects Verizon will have plenty of inventory to satisfy customer demand for the Motorola Droid X when it launched on the 15th of July.
Furthermore, according to BGR sources they have also confirmed that several stores have 50 to 100 Motorola Droid X units in stock and apparently 30k or more per warehouse waiting in regional warehouses for overnight shipment to stores.
