So who has the fastest 3G data speed out of the top four US carriers? Well it looks like T-Mobile has the honour of that title in NYC anyway, as recent tests made by the Senior Editor of Cnet, Bonnie Cha decided to test the four major carriers in a data speed comparison.
According to an article over on Tmonews by Kickstar13, the Cnet tests were carried out in the USA’s most populated city, New York City with the results showing that in virtually all the tested areas in NYC, T-Mobile packed the fastest 3G speeds.
The tests were performed using a T-Mobile Nexus One handset capable of HSPA 7.2Mbps, the Apple iPhone 4 on AT&T, the HTC EVO 4G on Sprint, and the Motorola Droid X on Verizon.
We have the video of the 3G data speed tests by Cnet for your viewing pleasure below which lasts almost five minutes, so hit up the video and check out those 3G data speed test results…enjoy.
