It would appear that the Big Red is about to clear some shelf space ready for their summer releases by way of placing the Motorola Droid, Motorola Devour and BlackBerry Tour 9630 onto the Verizon end of life list.
According to an article over on the Boy Genius Report by Andrew Munchbach, the guys over on Droid Forums captured an image of the Verizon Wireless end of life list and it shows the Motorola Droid, Devour, BlackBerry Tour 9630, Nokia 7705 Twist, the Samsung Knack, Smooth, Intensity, and Saga.
All seem now destined for the Big Red’s mobile graveyard to make way for the new smartphones expected on the Verizon network this summer, although Verizon has not yet confirmed anything.
Still as new and exciting smartphone hit the mobile space such as the Motorola Droid X, some devices have simply got to be shoved aside to make room.
