The iPhone 4 verses Samsung Captivate video comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Technobuffalo where they pitted the AT&T handsets against each other in a twenty-five and a half minute confrontation.
The face to face fight between the iPhone 4 and Samsung Captivate takes in such things as the browser, speed, battery, call quality, signal strength, screen, camera, design, operating system and text entry.
So as I don’t wish to give anything away as to which device gains the upper hand in this smartphone battle, I’ll simply let you head on down to hit the play button and find out for yourselves which smartphone wins…enjoy.

Can you set different alert tones for different email accounts? And is there a visual alert light for new messages (email or otherwise), like my Blackberry had?? I have been using an iPhone after my BB 8900 and am disappointed in these features.
Uh ohhhhhh….. I might have another choice to make……. or do I?
I've just returned my iphone 4g after a month due to the antennae issues that could not be fixed with a bumper (as suggested), a new sim card, and new software. After two days with the Captivate, I am extremely happy. For one, it does it's most basic function well, which is act as a phone. My iphone was more like an ipod. Also, it is A LOT more customizable than the iphone. I understand it can be even more customizable if you side step the at&t blocks (instructions for doing so are our there on the web). I set mine up to put my daily agenda and my most used apps on my homepage, something I could not do with the iphone and as a previous BB user and a big fan of the 'Today' theme, having a calendar on my homepage again was great. I also have a homepage that allows me to see my facebook feeds, and the weather, and the latest news. You get to have 5 customizable homepages, and the options are endless.
I would definitely recommend this phone, expecially if you are someone who wants to customize the phone and really make the it work for you, as opposed to living with what come out of the box.
I have to say, I have tryed out the new blackberry, and I liked it alot over what I was carrying, "not a smart phone". I tryed it out for about 2 weeks and then I got to looking at the Captivate, so I didnt want to get stuck with the same phone until next up grade. SO I took the blackberry back and I then got the Captivate, WOW is all I can say, it didnt take me but a few mins, to get that bad boy up and going. I have to say the Captivate put a smile on my face. But then I started to think about the IPhone 4 , and like a BIG DUMMY I took the Captivate back and got the Iphone4, well the Iphone is a nice cute little phone, thats about all I can say,
other than I cant wate to get back to At&t to get my "Captivate" . I wish I had never even tryed the Iphone out, to me the Iphone was like a step up from a basic cell phone, back in the day I can see why everyone wanted one, it was all we had , but now they are a new top dog out there, even with out the flash or face cam…. I like At&t , and im going to stay with them, I just wish they would stop babying or just stop protecting iphone, and look at the new bigger picture of whats out there for the AT&T CUSTOMER.
love my captivate. easy to use, practical, processor is much faster than my old unlocked samsung phones. gps and games are fun and easy to use, web browser is great for keeping in touch wtih my clients. very happy with my new unlocked 3g phones. facebook and games are great for long trips and it's thin and light fits in my pocket really easy. also got my unlock codes and htc unlocking for free! speaker phone is great, it's very easy to navigate around the phone, apps are great. very happy. got my last couple unlocked 3g phones at unlockthatphone.com 2 thumbs way up
I got the same problem about my phone shutting off, is making me miss my alarm, specially my 2:30 am when I got to get up an check my daughter glucose, It does it about 4 times a day. Hope that AT&T or Samsung can solve this issue.
