For all you Skype loving iPhone fans out there, Skype has released an updated version of their Skype iPhone application to the App Store which apparently enables multitasking and making 3G voice calls.
According to an article over on i4u by Luigi Lugmayr, Skype states that their new updated Skype for iPhone application enables the user to now make calls whilst running another application and even when your iPhone is locked.
Furthermore the new update to the app means that during a call the user can continue their conversation while switching to another task like reading email or watching a movie. The updated Skype app has also updated the application’s graphics to support the iPhone 4 Retina Display.
Skype for iPhone version 2.0.1 has been iOS 4 tested and is available for download to the iPhone via iTunes and is a free application so go grab it.
