Motorola have recently announced that they will launch two low budget Android Smartphones in Taiwan. Namely the Motorola Quench MB501 and the Quench XT3.
The Quench was leaked a few weeks back as the Motorola Greco and according to a recent article from Cosmin Vasile over at Softpedia.com the device is now ready for shipping in Taiwan.
Sadly the device itself doesn’t really make that much of an impression when you look at the specification sheet, however it is rumoured that the device will be a level entry Motorola device with Android 2.1, however it seems it will come with a rather disappointing Android version 1.6 operating system.
No news of any upgrade for the future which leads you to believe that the Smartphone wont benefit from a comprehensive software support. On a brighter note some features are said to include a 3.2 inch HVGA touchscreen, a 3 megapixel camera, Qualcomm MSM 7227 600MHz processor to name just a few. No firm details yet on price but we will let you have that information when we have it available.
