Apple is doing a very good job to keep customers happy and so is O2 UK, Apple has just in case you missed it started its iPhone 4 return policy on their website.
You can now return your iPhone 4 if you are not satisfied to an O2 Store, you must take proof of purchase and it must return in its original packaging. O2 for a limited period only has extended its change of mind policy for iPhone 4, basically in a nutshell you can return the smartphone only if you have purchased it via O2 when it released Thursday 24 June, returns can be made up until August 6.
O2 will allow you return your Apple iPhone 4 and exchange it for any mobile phone in their range as long as it is in stock, they will also give you a free micro sim adapter if you need one.
From August 7, Saturday all iPhone 4 purchases will be subject to our usual returns policy. Just a quick reminder about the iPhone 4 Bumper refund, you can fill out a rebate form and mail it to Apple by September 23, 2010, Apple will send you the rebate as soon as they have processed your claim. Looks like the other mobile device providers should attempt a smash and grab on the market why they can as apple stalls.
Its all Another setback once again for Apple it will be interesting to see what's next in the news regarding iPhone issues (antenna, manufacturing and now service charges) and their steps to refund cases won’t make up for the iPhone 4's lack of function over form.
It's a shame to see so many issues with the iPhone 4 after so many people waited for it's release. What's more of a shame is that it seems Apple knew about some of these issues already, such as the problem with reception.
But Apple have created such a loyal following that people may just put up with what issues there are for the sake of owning the latest Apple product.
Personally, I'd be happier with an older iPhone – at least then the issues are all ironed out.
However, it's also interesting to see how much excitement new technologies can bring. New technology and innovation is important for new business, illustrated by entrepreneurship grants and new business competitions like http://www.ukesnc.com.
Guess it's not all bad!
Seriously, this article is gibberish. Bought before June 24? How?
As for O2, this seems a pretty stingy extension of the stingy general policy. Don’t think I’ll be buying off them anytime soon.
