One of the 17 markets where the iPhone by Apple is all set to become available for purchase is Canada and that’s from July 30th. According to a recent article by Ionut Arghire at Softpedia.com Apple have just announced the move officially.
Wireless carriers in the country seem all ready to be offering special promotions to those users which are interested in the new version of the handset and that includes Rogers who have an offer which is aimed for those customers who have purchased a mobile device before June 7th 2010.
The new iPhone 4 will be offered at a discounted price to those that have purchased either a Smartphone a feature phone or a quick messaging device. This information was located in the Rogers iPhone Training manual and has been confirmed by an article in the iPhoneinCanada.
Specific details are as yet unavailable, although the leaked document states “last year Rogers provided a special iPhone upgrade that gave iPhone 3G owners the chance to upgrade before their normal hardware upgrade eligibility. This year we’re doing it again and we’re expanding it to give millions more customers the chance to get an iPhone 4 at a discounted price.
