Samsung Epic 4G Release Date Tipped for August?
Word is Samsung will showcase their all new 4G enabled Samsung Epic via their television support website on the 20th of August, which isn’t that long away, and it is presumed that the 20th August could well be the release date for the new Sammy device.
According to an article over on Engadget by Sean Hollister, this is exactly what happened with the last two smartphones coming out of the Samsung camp, the Samsung Captivate and Vibrant as the infomercials virtually coincided with the handsets release dates.
So if this assumption is correct the estimated schedule for the Samsung Epic 4G to be shown off by Samsung is at 4:30 pm EST and hopefully the release of the device will follow shortly after, although don’t bet your life on it as nothing has been confirmed.
The Samsung Epic 4G packs a 4 inch Super AMOLED touch screen, Samsung 1 GHz Hummingbird processor, Full QWERTY keyboard, 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus, front facing camera, Android 2.1 upgradeable to Android 2.2, Mobile hotspot capability, WiFi, and of course 4G connectivity.

Samsung stinks.
And So does HTC (hero)
you guys are haters on the phones, just because you aint got one HAH
Don't be haters – Samsung just changed the date (a day or two ago) to 1/1/3000 – to keep people from guessing. I'm sure they don't want to have the same issue EVO from HTC is currently having – shortages… it looks like a popular phone!
I’m not a hater but I do hate my HTC hero
i think this phne is cool n ima get it whn it comes out, dnt knock it if u ddnt try it
Been waiting this phone since it was still called as Galaxy S. Hopefully, that much coveted front facing camera as 3G Video chatting would be here as well. Samsung Epic Updates and Impressions.
