The popular iPhone application Sky+ App has now apparently moved over from the iPhone to the Android platform and is now available for Android handset user to download from the Android Market.
According to a Patrick Goss article on Techradar, Sky has now announced the availability of the Sky+ App in the Android Market as well as announcing that Sky app downloads have reached a milestone figure of 5 million downloads in under a year.
Sky General Manager, David Gibbs has said…”The success of the Sky+ app indicates that there is a real demand for innovative products such as Remote Record, which gives our customers more choice and control to plan their viewing over the TV love when they are on the move and away from home”.
Sky+ App enables Android users to connect Sky+ and Sky+HD to set their desired recordings straight from their Android phone, and will also gain access to Sky’s 7-day EPG where the user can browse listing via day, time, or program title.
