With all the flak Apple have been getting over the iPhone 4 antennagate issue it’s fairly obvious other smartphone makers are going to take full advantage of than when pushing out adverts for their latest devices, and one such smartphone maker is doing so today.
According to an article over on Droid-life by Kellex, by way of the Motorola Facebook page, Motorola is pushing out a full page Droid X advert to newspapers today, which takes a nice swipe at Apple and the iPhone 4 bumper case.
Here’s what the Droid X advert says…” At Motorola, we believe a customer shouldn’t have to dress up their phone for it to work properly. That’s why the DROID X comes with a dual antenna design. The kind that allows you to hold the phone any way you like to make crystal clear calls without a bulky phone jacket. For us it’s just one of those things that comes as a given when you’ve been making mobile phones for over 30 years.”
Obviously a blatant poke at the iPhone 4 and a nice slap at Apple, which I bet smarts like hell, still Apple only have them selves to blame, and is fair retaliation for Apple pointing the finger at the Droid X over the antenna issue.
