This Friday the 30th of July, Phone 4u will launch a new YouTube channel which will feature ‘Bosh’ their daily online magazine show which will apparently “focus on aspects of popular culture.”
According to an article over on Mobile Today, Bosh is made up of a daily magazine type series of “webisodes,” which will run between 3 to 5 minutes from Monday through Friday, and Phones 4u says there will be segments for celebrity events, product reviews, popular topic of the moment and music.
The head of social media at Phone 4u, Graeme Ford, says… ‘We’re keen to connect with our customers by giving them genuine user value propositions in the places they choose to spend their time. The new channel is not just about selling phones; it’s about us as a company earning awareness and consideration for the brand, and ultimately a sense of trust.”
Phone 4u Bosh will also show TV adverts, user generated content styled vox-pops, mobile phone unboxing footage and event coverage, and the Bosh magazine is targeted at UK 16 to 24 year olds, and the new YouTube channel will link to Phones 4u’s Twitter and Facebook pages.
