Solar Hybrid SoftBank 842H Launched by Sharp
There’s a new mobile phone being launched by Sharp in Japan, and is the Solar Hybrid SoftBank 842H handset, which sports a solar panel and is a dust proof and water proof device to be offered through SoftBank Mobile.
According to the article over on i4u by Luigi Lugmayr, the Solar Hybrid SoftBank 842H is a 3G enabled flip phone which features a solar panel on its cover which can generate enough energy with 10 minutes of sunlight to deliver 2 minutes of talk time or 3 hours of standby time.
Other than that there is no word on any other features or specifications on the Solar Hybrid Softbank 842H other than the mobile phone will be available in red, white or blue.
Currently there are no details on what price the Solar Hybrid SoftBank 842H 3G flip phone will command but it will begin shipping as of the end of July.

Sharp has done a brilliant job and the entire solution for energy solution. After the release of the mobile phone it be will be tuff to get this handset due to the Solar feature.
