You must have heard the news that Sprint and HTC are rolling out that all important Android 2.2 update for HTC EVO 4G owners next week, we have covered it previously here in case you missed it.
Thanks to a recent article by the folks over at zdnet.com for more on that HTC apparently posted a version of the update which may well have been for testing. The news was published on Twitter and was grabbed.
The firmware update turns out to have the same version number as that on the upcoming release version and was successfully installed onto a HTC EVO 4G. Some time later HTC tweeted that this version was not the final one and should not be installed.
Have a look at the video below and as you can see the update includes Flash 10.1 and will allow Popcap Games to be played in the browser. The official update should be with you within the next few days and is said to bring lots with it including Gmail account switcher.
