Here is the news you’ve all been waiting for in relation to breaking your iPhone 4 the wait is almost over.

It would seem that according to a recent article by Jeremy Sikora over at tipd.com that there is less than 48 hours left to wait before you will be able to break your iPhone 4 free from it’s carrier lock.

Planetbeing, and iPhone Dev team member announced late yesterday evening on Twitter that the unlock is right around the corner. Also yesterday Comex had released his new web based jailbreak but that came with some issues, including some users losing MMS and FaceTime.

Those issues have now since been rectified and if you wish to try the jailbreak you should be good to go of course only until Apple release a firmware update which will inevitably break this jailbreak method.
