Well not it seems that you can just about purchase anything theses days from the likes of eBay and Craigslist, and apparently prototype smartphone units appear to be hitting Craigslist in particular a couple of HTC prototype smartphones.
According to an article over on Eurodroid by way of Cell Passion, a reader somehow managed to purchase two test models of unannounced HTC Android based smartphones, namely the HTC Paradise and HTC Fiesta handsets both AT&T test units.
The HTC Paradise sports a slide out QWERTY keyboard and resembles the HTC Aria handset, while the HTC Fiesta is a basic touch screen candy-bar form factor that features a 3.2 megapixel camera.
Apparently both of these devices could possibly never see the light of day in the mobile space especially as Cell Passion believes the HTC Fiesta has been canned. Still just goes to show that someone has a use for canned prototype smartphones, no word on what price was paid for either though.
