BlackBerry Torch Offered by Amazon for $99.99, Will You Buy?
The latest smartphone to be pushed out of the Research In Motion stable is of course the new BlackBerry Torch 9800, the first BlackBerry device to pack both a touch screen and sliding QWERTY keyboard and is available on the AT&T network.
With AT&T the BlackBerry Torch 9800 will cost $199.99 based on signing up for a 2 year agreement. However according to an article over on Softpedia by Ionut Arghire, anyone wanting to save a bit of cash can pick up the BlackBerry Torch 9800 for less from Amazon.
Apparently Amazon is offering the new BlackBerry Torch 9800 smartphone for just $99.99 with that 2 year agreement and isn’t just for new customers to the Big Blue as apparently existing AT&T customers can upgrade as well and all receive free shipping.
So there it is, the BlackBerry Torch 9800 hasn’t been out of the RIM camp for all that long and has already received its first price reduction of $100, which no doubt will be quite an attractive proposition to some. So will you buy the BlackBerry Torch 9800 for $99.99?
