Well lookie here, it’s the Dell Streak smartphone come tablet which has been given the teardown treatment to show off exactly what the Dell Streak hides on its insides, which apparently isn’t out of the ordinary.
According to an article over on Gizmodo by Brian Barrett, the guys over at iFixit have now done their usual disassemble of the latest device out of the Dell camp the Dell Streak smartphone.
One major note that iFixit found is that the dell Streak’s Gorilla Glass is actually bonded to the LCD which means if you do happen to break the bugger you need to replace both Gorilla Glass and LCD.
Other than that basically all the usual gear is in the device; however on the upside apparently replacing the Dell Streak battery is a bit of a doddle and can be done in less than a minute. Loads of images and a complete rundown of the teardown can be viewed over at the iFixit website.
