Over in Canada Rogers Wireless customers now have a new mobile phone on their hands as Rogers has now officially launched the LG Neon 2 smartphone which features a slide out QWERTY keyboard for the texting minded.
According to a report by Andrew Munchbach over on the Boy Genius Report, the LG Neon 2 features a 3 inch QQVGA TFT touch screen, a 2 megapixel camera with x2 zoom along with video capture and playback, Bluetooth, 42MB internal memory and microSD expansion up to 8GB.
Unfortunately there is no HSPA radio in the device however the LG Neon 2 does have quad-band GSM, and measures 107.5 x 52.5 x 15.9mm with a weight of 122 grams and delivers talk time up to 6 hours and standby time up to 17 days.
Price wise, Rogers is asking $19.99 for the LG Neon 2 based on signing a 3 year agreement, or if you prefer the LG Neon 2 without commitment the device will set you back $174.99.
