Having just reported on Apple not allowing their iPhone to be included in O2UK’s new green ranking system whereby they rate the best and worst mobile phone for eco friendliness, it appears that Sony Ericsson has come out tops of the list.
According to an article over on The Telegraph by Claudine Beaumont, the Sony Ericsson Elm tops the O2 list with an eco rating of 4.3 out of 5, while topping the list of worst eco friendly mobile phones is the LG Etna with a rating of just 2.7.
Following the Sony Ericsson Elm are the Nokia 6700 rating 4, Nokia C7 rating 4, Nokia 1800 rating 4, Samsung GT-S8500 rating 4, SE Zylo rating 4, SE XPERIA X10 mini rating 4, XPERIA X10 mini pro rating 4, Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro rating 3.9 and Nokia E500 rating a 3.9.
Of the worst eco friendly behind the LG Etna are, the Palm Pre plus rating 2.7, LG Chocolate rating 2.9 LG Cookie rating 2.9, HTC HD2 rating 2.9, LG GT350 rating 3.1, LG GW300 Etna 2 rating 3.1, Samsung C3050 rating 3.1, LG GT540 rating 3.2 and Sony Ericsson Satio rating 3.2.
