Another big announcement by Steve Jobs during the Apple special event was news of the next version of iOS, iOS 4.1, and that Apple is releasing iOS 4.1 as of yesterday and the new version will deliver new features along with some bug fixes.
According to an article by Sebastien, over on iPhone Download Blog, the iOS 4.1 bug fixes include Bluetooth and iPhone 3G performance issues fix and something that was originally reported as not coming in iOS 4.1, a fix for the iPhone 4 proximity sensor.
The new iOS 4.1 features include the ability to upload HD video over WiFi, the Games Centre, High Dynamic Range Photos, which is an improved way of processing images, and television show rentals rather than show purchases.
Apple’s new iOS 4.1 for iPhone and iPod Touch should be available to the Apple faithful sometime next week and can be gained by hitting up iTunes.
