For the lover of music yesterday’s Apple event brought some big news with the announcement of a newer version of iTunes as Apple guru Steve Jobs announced the revamped iTunes 10.
According to an article by Sebastien over on iPhone Download Blog, iTunes 10 gains a new logo and a new feature known as Ping, which is a type of social networking for the music minded, or as Jobs puts it, a mixture of Facebook and Twitter for iTunes.
Apparently with iTunes 10 Ping the user can follow artists, post opinions and comments, find concert info, and of course flow friends and have friends follow you, along with a lot more, and everyone of the 160 million iTunes users’ gains access to Ping.
iTunes 10 with Ping is available to download as of right now, and every iPhone and iPod Touch user can also use Ping as it is also available as an app. However, if you are using a jailbroken iPhone you may wish to hold off upgrading to iTunes 10 as it may break your jailbreak.
