Not too long ago I posted an article about SkyFire almost being ready to submit SkyFire for iPhone to Apple’s approval process, you can read that particular article by hitting (Here), well it appears that SkyFire has now announced that they have gone ahead and submitted.
That’s right according to an article over on Pocket Now by Jaime Rivera, and by way of Mobile Crunch, SkyFire has now submitted their iOS ready iPhone application for approval by the Apple people, and hope to go the same way as Opera Mini for iPhone.
SkyFire uses a special server based way of delivering Flash content to mobile handsets and hopes that as Opera managed to gain Apple approval for their similar app, SkyFire will have the same success.
Of course there is always a chance of Apple refusing SkyFire for iPhone as Apple doesn’t really allow Flash based code in iOS app development but as SkyFire delivers Flash via a server it shouldn’t really be a problem, so we may see SkyFire for iPhone being approved in the not too distant future.
