A new version of the Unrevoked flashing tool, version 3.2 was made available for download by the unrevoked team, which adds support for Android 2.2 Froyo enabling users to unlock their NAND and root their device.
However, according to an article over on Android Central by Jerry Hildenbrand, the guys over at Unrevoked have now pulled the new version due to unforeseen issues, and say…”We’re seeing some strange problems with Unrevoked 3.2, so we’ve pulled the release for a bit. Please hold on! Don’t worry if you’ve already run 3.2 – you are rooted and everything is OK. It’s just a problem for users while running it.”
With the addition of Android Froyo to Unrevoked 3.2, the list of smartphones supported by the flashing tool is now the HTC EVO 4G, HTC Desire GSM and CDMA, HTC Aria, HTC Droid Incredible, HTC Wildfire and the HTC Droid Eris.
Apparently the team have had a report that there are some bug issues with Unrevoked 3.2 which is actually only two HTC EVO 4G users, so they have pulled the version until they are satisfied all is ok.
