With the new iOS 4.1 release comes HDR photos to the iPhone 4, HDR standing for “high dynamic range”, which is the reange between the lightest and darkest areas of a photo which then is supposed to look more similar to that seen by the human eye.
But is HDR photo capability really worth it? Well John Rettinger over at Technobuffalo has taken a look at HDR photo on the iPhone 4 and has made a video of the occasion, which we have for your viewing pleasure below.
HDR snaps three photos in quick succession, normal, over exposed and under exposed and then combined all three using sophisticated algorithms to deliver up the photo.
