The first smartphone to play nice on the T-Mobile HSPA+ network, the T-Mobile G2 has now been officially announced but only vaguely touched on when the device would become available and for how much. Well it appears that Best Buy has stepped up to the mark on that front.
According to Marin Perez of Intomobile, The Android toting T-Mobile G2 will land on Best Buy shelves as of the 6th of October, and potential owners can pre-order the smartphone as of today the 10th of September, and as for the price tag, the smartphone will cost roughly $200 when signing a new two year agreement.
Of course purchasing your T-Mobile G2 via best Buy means you forgo the hassle of that dreaded mail in rebate. To pre-order though you will need to visit a local Best Buy or Best Buy Mobile store.
