iPhone 4 users are enjoying HDR photos thanks to the iOS 4.1 release but if you own an iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS running iOS 4.1 there is apparently a way of gaining HDR photos on your older smartphone although apparently there is a long list of prerequisites.
According to an article over on the Boy Genius Report by Andrew Munchbach, iPhone modder Will Strafach has tweeted on Twitter…“Made a Cydia tweak to allow HDR photos on 4.1 for the iPhone 3G and 3G[s].”
Which should mean that when that iOS 4.1 jailbreak finally appears those who own a jailbroken iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS should be able to play along nicely with HDR photos just like you can on the iPhone 4.
Apparently though it all depends of quite a few if’s and when’s but it’s better than nothing, and something to look forward too, that is of course if you really want HDR photos on your iPhone 3G or 3GS.
