The Nokia X3 Touch and Type smartphone has apparently been received reasonably well by the public and press, and naturally the Nokia X3 Touch and Type made an appearance at Nokia World 2010.
The guys over at NokNok are also at Nokia World and managed to grab a little hands-on playtime with the Nokia device and they say they are rather impressed with its mix of touch screen and neat design and alpha-numeric keypad, a first for Nokia.
The guys say the keys are however an unusual layout in 4 vertical lines, however it seems to work well and the keys are firmly in place making it easier to speed type that on a regular touch screen. As for build quality the Nokia X3 is reasonable but as an affordable device lack some wow factor that can be found on the likes of the Nokia N8.
Overall the guys were particularly taken with the Nokia X3 Touch and Type and it is a well designed and comfortable handset, and if you are looking for a physical keyboard and touch screen handset the Nokia x3 may be for you.
