HTC has now officially announced the new HTC Desire HD and HTC Desire Z smartphone at the HTC Event in London today, and both smartphones will carry the new HTC Sense.
Again from the Intomobile guys live coverage, the HTC Desire HD is made of aluminium with a 4.3 inch display, 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, integrated SRS and Dolby Mobile.
As for the HTC Desire Z handset, it comes with what they call a “Z-hinge” which enables the user to place their fingers on the keyboard naturally. The Desire Z keyboard has a good layout but doesn’t have a number row, but there are keyboard shortcuts such as “R” to reply to emails.
Availability wise both the HTC Desire HD and HTC Desire Z will be available sometime next month, and apparently launch across any Vodafone markets, no pricing as yet though. No doubt more detail will come about on these to HTC devices over the coming days.
