The latest smartphone out of the HTC camp is of course the HTC Desire HD, and will be hitting the UK and Europe next month along with the HTC Desire Z smartphone as announced at the HTC event in London, but will the US see the HTC Desire HD?
Well according to Chris Ziegler over at Engadget, the HTC Desire HD has popped up in an FCC filing, so one would expect the device to be getting some US love, but unfortunately it doesn’t appear to be the case as the FCC document shows that the HTC Desire HD doesn’t have any North American 3G.
Thus it looks like for the time being anyway that the HTC EVO 4G will remain the only 4.3 inch Android HTC device available to Americans for the foreseeable future.
However, that being said, it isn’t impossible that HTC will at some stage of the game push out a North American version of the HTC Desire HD, but for now the device will only be playing nice on UK and European networks.
