It hasn’t been all that long since iPhone OS gained an update to iOS 4.1 and once a new iOS is mentioned along comes a bundle of rumours, this time involving iOS 4.2 as the operating apparently brings a couple of new improvements.
According to an article over on iPhone Download Blog by Ethan, and by way of iLounge, iOS 4.2 brings a couple of tweaks to the users YouTube experience with the addition of a “Like” and “Dislike,” buttons, not that big an improvement but still an improvement.
Then iOS 4.2 also now supports CoreMIDI which apparently can enable a user to run instruments by using a simple adapter.
There is also a downside to iOS 4.2 apparently as there is now prevention of the deletion of App Store apps along with preventing any changes to accounts in the Mail app. So there you have it, now anyone else found new gear in iOS 4.2? If so feel free to let us know by dropping us a comment.
