Mobile gaming in one huge business these days and it appears none more so that on the Apple iOS platform for such devices as the iPhone 4 and iPad, and one of the big mobile game makers, Gameloft has made a big hit on iOS.

According to an article over on Ubergizmo, game developer Gameloft has announced that they have sold in excess of 20 million mobile games via the App Store.

Furthermore out of the 47 iPhone and iPad mobile games Gameloft launched earlier this year, 42 of them have hit the top 5 in the Top Grossing charts while 25 have also taken the top slot, and after 20 million paid downloads there’s no stopping the company.

Apparently Gameloft is looking to release 15 mobile games for the iOS platform this year which will include Dungeon Hunter 2, Assassin’s Creed, Star Battalion, Altair’s Chronicles HD, and Moern Combat 2: Black Pegasus.
