Jailbreak Redsn0w 0.9.6 Download for iPhone iOS 4.1 and 4.2 Available
The new Jailbreak aka Redsn0w 0.9.6 is now ready to download for iPhone iOS 4.1 and 4.2, the Redsn0w jailbreak tool does not yet work on the iPhone 4 or new iPod Touch, but it will do soon enough.
This new jailbreak will work on the iPhone 3G and 2G iPod Touch according to product-reviews.net, apparently these jailbreaks are far from being simple and we do whole heartedly recommend you visiting RedmondPie for the how-to instructions (How to for iOS 4.1 — iOS 4.2).
The instructions are a little intense if you are not into this sort of thing so please let us know how you get on, if you attempt to download the Redsn0w jailbreak 0.9.6 tool please let us know if it goes smoothly or you happened to come across any problems at all.

i know how to fix that it involes restoring it happen to me and i freaked out yu hav to put in in recovery mode google it

so is it bad?
Yeah but every time you jailbreak it, the phone icon disappears as well.. I've done it a couple of times, and i still haven't found a way around it. plus you can't fully shut down your iphone, it will turn on as soon as you turn it off. its weird.
