The latest flagship smartphone from the Nokia camp, the Nokia N8 has been causing a bit of confusion of late with rumours hitting the net waves that the Nokia N8 has been delayed, we reported on that matter (here).

Well apparently the reports of a delay with the Nokia N8 are unfounded as according to an article over on My Nokia Blog by John Wiegand-forson, and by way of Nokia Conversations and Straits Times, Nokia has come right out and denied that the Nokia N8 has been delayed.

Furthermore, Nokia still expects to begin shipping the Nokia N8 at the end of the 3rd quarter and has not changed that shipping date. Nokia further explains that those that pre-order direct from Nokia will receive their Nokia N8 at a slightly different time than others obtaining the device from their chosen network.

Spokesperson for Nokia, Doug Dawson has said…” We have said we expect to ship the N8 by the end of the third quarter and that hasn’t changed.” So there you go, as far as Nokia is concerned there is no delay with the Nokia N8.
