For fans of HTC smartphone looking to pick up the new Android 2.2 Froyo packing HTC Desire Z the official launch date for the HTC Desire Z is the 11th of October, however you can apparently pre-order the device as of right now.
According to an article over on Sell My Mobile by Richard White, those wishing to pre-order the HTC Desire Z can now do so by visiting Amazon and the smartphone will set you back £429.99.
The HTC Desire Z was one of two new smartphones announced at the HTC event in London, the other being of course the HTC Desire HD, and both handsets will sports not only Android 2.2 but the new HTC Sense as well.
Spec wise the HTC Desire Z offers the user a 3.7 inch capacitive touch screen, 800MHz processor, 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus, LED flash, geo-tagging, and 720p HD video recording, Dolby Digital Mobile, 768MB RAM, 1.5GB internal memory, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, and microSD expansion.
