Samsung Galaxy S Froyo Coming to T-Mobile UK End of Month
The Samsung Galaxy S is a great smartphone but the only downside to it is that is still doesn’t pack the latest Android operating system and is sitting with Android 2.1 rather than Android 2.2 Froyo.
However it appears the Samsung Galaxy S user on T-Mobile UK may soon see Android 2.2 as according to an article over on Engadget by Vlad Savov, T-Mobile UK has promised that the Android 2.2 Froyo update for the Samsung Galaxy S will come by the end of the month.
If T-Mobile UK keep to their word this means Samsung Galaxy S users in the UK on the T-Mobile network have just about ten more days to wait until their smartphones gain the latest OS from Android which will be gained via the Samsung Kies PC app.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S on T-Mobile UK and will definitely be on the lookout for the Android 2.2 Froyo update to appear by the time the month is out, and of course I’ll let you know once it appears.

Good luck to all of my fellow Galaxy S owners trying to download/update via Kies! My prayers are with you.
I had trouble but now you can download the latest Kies from the Samsung site – Which solved my connection issues. Try it mate. Hope it works for you too.
When is it comig to orange?
yea when is it coming to orange ! ?
I downloaded the new version of KIES and it now works really well with my Galaxy S phone, although if you find that when you connect and it still hasn't recognised the phone phone just try a reboot of your PC and it works again. A final test would be to re-install the software and try again. Hope this helps some users.
