The new T-Mobile G2 still hasn’t been given an official release date but Best Buy is taking pre-orders for the device, although rumour had it that the T-Mobile G2 would come out on the 16th of October yet another rumour places it at the 10th.
According to an article over on Intomobile by Blake Stimac, and by way of a post by Android Central, the T-Mobile G2 has now made its way into Best Buy’s Buyer’s Guide and labelled under “coming soon.”
Naturally if you are expecting to walk into your local Best Buy on the day the T-Mobile G2 gets released, make sure your Best Buy store actually carries T-Mobile devices as according to Blake not a single Best Buy store in San Francisco actually carries T-Mobile handsets.
The T-Mobile G2 offers the customer a 3.7 inch WVGA capacitive touch screen, a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and flash, a Qualcomm MSM7230 800MHz processor, 4GB ROM, 512MB RAM, GPS/aGPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, and of course Android 2.2 OS.
